The high-quality Heidelberg incremental rotary encoder (made in the Czech Republic) with ABZ pulse output is designed for bidirectional counting of distance traveled or revolutions. Powered by DC 12 - 24 V with a 6 mm shaft and a 1 m cable. Type AMI G ZQH with a resolution of 400 ppr. (a total of 400 impulses per revolution). We use this encoder on machines manufactured by us as well as measuring assemblies and separate ROB K400 wheels.

Detailed description

Highly accurate and reliable electromagnetic (Hall) encoders of the AMI series from the renowned manufacturer Heidelberg.

Output B is shifted by 1/2 pulse A (1/4T = 90°). The Z output is interpreted 1 x per rotation (e.g. for the Origin function or for sensing the rotation speed).

The PPR value is given as the sum of all pulses per 1 rotation of the encoder, i.e. A and B channels, leading and falling edges.

Encoder packaging in a paper box with Mirelon EPE liners.

ABZ outputs can be operated on PNP systems (for NPN, the signal must be converted using embedded resistors).
